Hi. I’m Matt. I’ve been a Registered Nurse since 1987 working in Emergency Care and Home Care as an infusion nurse for Memorial Hospital of RI and Critical Care Systems in Worcester, MA. I graduated from the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in 1999 and served as an Associate Instructor for 4 years teaching Basic Massage, Deep tissue Techniques and Clinical Massage Applications. My practice opened in October of 1999 and it continues today in my location on Waterman Street in Providence near the Brown University campus, Hope Street and Wayland Square.

I don't believe that massage is a luxury. Far from it. Massage is a way of maintaining and taking care of your body without medications and without fear. Many aches, pains, and strains and just daily stresses can be improved with massage, stretching and touch in general. We are trained to assess your needs and adjust our treatment to fit you.

Your treatment with me will combine Swedish relaxation strokes, Deep Tissue and NeuroMuscular techniques, Trigger point therapy, Shiatsu and Traditional Thai Massage and occasionally a tool or two! HOWEVER-You decide how deep or light your treatment is going to be. I never want you to feel I am hurting you just because I can. Massage is not supposed to be an endurance test. Pain does not make a massage more effective!
